  1. Most Real Estate Agents are very poorly trained and are not competent to give advice to anyone.

You need to treat Real Estate as you would any other profession such as accounting or law.

If you get the proper education you will have much to offer.

As a Real Estate Investor one of the biggest problems that I see with Real Estate Agents is that they have little or no training with respect to the issue of the true Fair Market Value of a piece of property.

For a Real Estate Investor and really any potential buyer or seller of a piece of Real Estate competence with respect to the ability to determine the true fair market value of a piece of Real Estate is absolutely critical

Currently I see a ridiculous excess of Real Estate Agents and very few of them are competent to make an accurate assessment of the true fair market value of a piece of real estate.

We need QUALITY NOT QUANTITY when it comes to Real Estate Agents.

We need Real Estate Agents who are much better trained. That is absolutely key.

Anyone can find a piece of property on the internet, but very few people can make an accurate determination of the true fair market value of that piece of Real Estate.

I am a monavie distributor in indianapolis. It is a wonderful product that I am very passionate about. It is best to sign up with an active distributor who will take the time to support you and your business. Plus, being part of an active, creative time is vital as well. Monavie is marketed by a variety of different methods, most effectively being a tasting party where you invite others to learn about the health and wealth benefits. Plus, they hear about others' success on the juice. It is not necessary to sell this juice, just "share" it and the sales will come.

For instance my degree is a Master's of Arts in Counseling. My major however was Counseling – Student Affairs because I concentrated in the Student Affairs part.

So your major will be Business Management and then depending on your electives you could concentrate in Marketing. You could also Minor in Marketing and that would require a few more classes than the regular electives.

It sounds like the person who wrote his resume was a little confused. He might have been trying to show his potential employers he has experience with computer networks and so included that. Or Computer Networks might have been a category within IT at that school.

    Good luck with your studies!

  7. Christina Rossetti was a Victorian poet who wrote Christian poetry of a devotional sort. Your interpretation should probably take into account that she was very religious, and her poems were chiefly intended as aids to the worship and study of the Christian God. This particular one is, on its most basic level, a cautionary tale about giving in to temptation.

That said, it does have other, more complex themes. The idea of redemption by another's sacrifice is not new (at least as old as Jesus), but the idea that it can be carried out by a woman is interesting. The different kinds of femininity in the poem are worth thinking about: the Victorian idea of women as weak and suggestible vs. Rossetti's idea of a woman who is strong and feels solidarity with her sister.

Further, you might think about the narrator as another female presence in the poem. What does her style indicate about her? How is she represented in terms of gender?

  8. I concur with Happy Mom.

Often times listing children in the media/internet/picture trains, etc. is THE WAY a child finds permanency. Though I do not beleive people act merely on emotion, felt at a vulnerable time as they surfed the Web or were watching the news and then a few weeks later they have a child in their home and life. The process is lengthy and when the initial inquiry is based upon emotion, the prospective family backs out or closes their inquiry.

States are charged with getting kids out of foster care and into permanent homes. When there has been no kin or identified placement found within the state by traditional means….then what is there to do. I do not beleive it is a marketing scheme…..it is a way to achieve permanency for kids and if one child can find a home through the web or the media, then it is worth it.

Older kids have a choice and are given the opportunity to speak their voice. If they say no….then no is no. If they are okay with it, they approve the picture and they approve the information given.

In my state, many kids have found homes through non-traditional means, far better than sitting in foster care.

I am sure this is a thumb downer…but when you see foster kids day after day who are legally free and they sit and sit and sit…..and then are placed on the internet and within months are placed in a home and are adopted…..makes one a beleiver.

When there are no more kids who in foster care without identifed placements, then there will be no more need for Media presentations with foster kids.

How many foster kids you gonna adopt??

With today's high unemployment worldwide, there are no easy jobs available. those trying to tempt you with easy money are scams, they will just steal your identity or charge you credit card until you have to close it out.

  14. Hi there –

When it comes to internet marketing there are no disadvantages.

You have to know what your goals are and what your budget limitations are and then go about getting the best bang for your buck.

It's a great way to reach out to the global market and can also level the playing field between small business and big corporations.

It's also a great add on when you are looking to punch up sales – as long as you can keep up with sales when there's a boom, be/c internet sales can be like the weather – a flash flood or dry as a desert.

    Hope that helps!

  17. Internet Marketing is basically marketing on the internet. It's main purpose is marketing for a profit. It has become many peoples work of choice, but it can be very hard to break into.

There are numerous different types of internet marketing, the most common one is affiliate marketing. The concept of Affiliate marketing is to send people to a product through a special link that you've obtained from the marketer, and if the visitor purchases the product, you earn a commission. A commission is typically 50% of what the product costs (if it's a digital product), but can go all the way up to 75%.

  21. You have selected a good money making option. If you are an Insurance agent you have to find innovative ways to sell. People are sick of Insurance agents because of the hard selling they do.
If you are looking for an opportunity to make money you can try google adsense. Very easy to set up and make money without any initial cost.

  22. Probably somewhere in between. The main problem with agents is they have not adjusted to the new marketplace that increasingly relies on the Internet and as such, many people no longer see the value added (once you have your deal, you can always hire a lawyer to handle things). Agents who are progressive in using the Internet and social media will likely thrive (though they may have to look at lowering commissions). Before opening your brokerage, I would educate myself in how to use the Internet and especially Twitter, Facebook, etc. to drive sales.

  25. Well, I don't know if this will help or not, but I know I saw go boards at one of the little game kiosks in the mall around Christmas…not in Chicago, but still, you might want to check a local mall for that. :)

  26. I think of commercials…which I hate. Especially ones for prescriptions. Your Doc should tell you what you need, you don't tell him what you think you need. But, if I never heard of a certain product or brand, I won't buy it.

  27. You are confused. What you are FOR goes against Conservative ideals. So what you meant to say was "Everyone should be Liberal on this issue". You are saying you're against companies like Google from having too much power, and the free market should be regulated. That's not a Conservative ideal, it's a Liberal one.

  28. In the US, where I am from, such projects are called "public works projects". The process of finding a company to do the project is called "procurement" or "contract procurement" and the specific process is called a "bid". The government establishes specifications for the work to be done and issues an "invitation to bid". The lowest responsible bidder gets the job. In this context, the word "responsible" means that the company must be capable of meeting the minimum specified requirements.

So, the exact term you are looking for is "public works bid".

  31. Can't do much with that kind of money.
But I'm sure you can make flyers make copies of them for cheap (or free if you convince them about how serious you are about your cause.)
You could always 'preach' out in public, basically just saying what you guys are doing, why you are doing it, what you want them to do, and somehow make it all relate to your community. If you explain things and how it affects you as a community, or each of them as an induvidual.

  32. Technology is the way forward. Internet bookings are on a continuous rise but a lot of businesses don't take advantage of the technology at hand. Either they don't feel confident using it (like in the case of small B&B) or they don't have the proper access to it. A case is being made for using social networking sites for promotion not just a home page. Other recommendation it makes it at least larger tourism providers should look at having a mobile friendly website available as this is part of future.

Do I agree – Yes in the case of make sure homepage is updates, good booking systems and create a facebook or other social network system page. Do a page for mobile phone use, sure why not. But is that a case for trying to expand the mobile network and mobile broadband in remote areas. Heck no! Who wants to check their blackberry while walking in remote areas. If people do they need their head read. One reason people go there is to get away. Having access to broadband might be handy but you will also end up checking emails etc, not relaxing. Keep the remote areas remote I say.

  33. I am not a complete believer in efficient market theory, so I can't be a good defender of it. However, I will say research has shown the market is partially efficient. Evidence shows that the vast majority of mutual fund mangers can not beat the market. See the first link below for a discussion. (I don't agree with everything in this link, however.)

I find John Ross's claims of "hogwash" less than convincing. His facts are wrong. American mutual funds do not routinely outperform the market. See the second link. American Funds Washington Mutual A has underperformed the market 4 out of 7 years. It did well, but it did not routinely outperform.
Harvard does not routinely have an average yearly return greater then 15% every year. See the third link. In 2003, they reported they did 10.1% over 5 years and 14.7% over 10 years. However they did do well.
There have been monkey throwing darts contests. The most famous ones were in the Wall Street Journal. However, they didn't actual train a monkey to throw darts, they had a staff member play the monkey. The professionals won, the monkeys lost.

  34. This is just a blatant attempt at self promotion, and a poor one at that. People need to be in full awareness of what they are signing up to. Make a site or something, just don't spam yahoo questions, it's actually for questions… Not self promotion.

  36. Judaism and Christianity are thoroughly different religions, both in theology and in the way we go about things.

Judaism doesn't market itself. We have no doctrine of exclusive salvation, just the belief that every one should live as justly as they can. Those who sincerely wish to convert are welcomed. That's all we do.

  37. You could major in E-marketing if you want but I would suggest something else. Even though E-marketing is a thing of the future as you have said. The people who are big in this industry have just tried, they really don't have a degree but if you really want to go for it do it. It is an industry in which without a whole load of work you can make big bucks provided you know how to.

  44. It's hogwash. All of it. There was no chimp experiment. Many firms model stock portfiolios routinely outperform the market. I'd suggest you take a look at firms like Edward Jones' 7- and 10-year track records. Even more impressive are the performance records of firms like the American Funds, who again routinely outperform the markets by doing extensive research in ways the average investor could never hope or even imagine to. And lastly, check out the performance records of the endowment managers at Harvard and Yale for example. They each manage over $15 billion and routinely put up an average annual return in excess of 15%. No chimp, or index fund, will ever do that.

    Hope this helps!

  48. Pick crude oil. The demand and supply for the price of crude oil changes day by day. There's lots of info. on this topic too. Google "crude oil supply and demand".

  49. Most Android tablets don't support the Android Market. Yours is probably one of them. It may have an alternate market app, but who knows how well it works (Coby is not exactly a brand well-known for quality, and Android tablets in general so far – except for the Galaxy tab – get pretty poor reviews). Even if you did have the real Market, I know that the Android Market won't display apps that it thinks are not compatible with your device.

As far as how/if you can upgrade to Android, that would probably be something to ask Coby. Upgrades for Android devices don't come from the Android site or from Google, instead they come from the device manufacturer (and/or the phone company, if it's a phone). It's very unlikely that there is an upgrade to 2.3 since there aren't any 2.3 upgrades available for any Android devices yet, because 2.3 it's too new.

  53. Marketing, I love the concept!
Advertising and marketing is a art form all in itself. One has to know who they are targeting for what product. Age, race, class of people etc.
I love commercials even, I am one of those who will watch commercials LOL!! Some of the commercials on tv one can tell who are making them. It is like who is singing a song.
Marketing takes research, creativity, knowing about cultures, what people want.

Marketing would be a very good job I would think!

  54. Wait a minute…! HOLD IT! What if a person feels that he/she is worth what he's asking for? Well, let's face it, not everyone can kick a ball through the goal posts like those pro football players… and if they didn't make that kind of money, then the owners would be making THAT much more… so, why NOT let those that are bringing in the crowds of paying spectators earn some of the small fortunes that are made every single day they play? Same with baseball players. Why should only club owners make those mega bucks…?

Heck, Steinbrenner makes money from the concessions and he also wanted to get a dollar for every hotdog sold outside in the streets around Yankee stadium from those poor schnooks that push their rented carts for long hours in the blazing heat of summer or the cold days of winter just to make a few dollars to pay their rents, bills and support a family!

Listen, first of all, I agree with you in one thing: prices are getting ridiculous (sugar prices has NOT gone up but the candy bar prices have gone up like crazy, along with soft drinks) and I am the first one to ask, "How much is enough?" to those crazy salaries being paid today, but… HOW do you propose to limit what people can or cannot earn? How about those large corporate CEOs that get a few hundred millions a year plus insane and outrageous (and obscene) fringe benefits upon retiring or leaving…? How do you propose to stop that? The only ones that have a say in that matter are stockholders and they seem not to care.

It's funny how those that do not make an effort to work hard enough to get ahead in this competitive world are the first ones that want to limit what the more talented and more industrious and more ingenious individuals are earning. Why is that those that contribute the least in society are the ones that make the most demands? Why is it that the "Have nots" are the ones that always want to share what the "Haves" have without so much as deserving it?

If I am willing to work harder at inventing something or working extra hours at a job so that I can have extra money to work and develop an idea or invention to make money… why should I have to share it with someone who is not willing or too lazy to work extra for what I have?

You remind me of those Cadillac and Lexus cars lined up in ghetto neigborhoods where the majority of the people claim to be unfit to work, live on Welfare and have 3 or 4 huge color TVs, all sorts of expensive music blasting equipment, all of the latest in electronic gear, the kids wear $200 sneakers, $180 sweaters, $300 coats, $190 shoes… yet they live off of Welfare and receive Food Coupons! C'mon, be real!

And, if someone does something that makes him/her unique and people want to see and are willing to pay for it… WHO are you to say that person should not be paid extra? That's part of the bargaining freedom that makes it possible for talented and gifted people to get ahead in this country of ours…

WHY don't you b/itch and complain to the elected officials to do something about the super rich and powerful companies that are overcharging and profiteering at the expense of the war? THAT would be an honorable fight that I'd gladly join you in; those companies are responsible for our elderly, our retired, our disabled and poor to pay more for their life-sustaining pharmaceuticals and also pay more taxes… while they outsource jobs to other foreign countries and refuse to hire Americans but want American dollars to pay for their products.

WHY don't you b/itch and complain about those companies that are double-billing and over-billing or cheating the government (charging for non-existing workers… like in the colleges, where Presidents and some Provosts have relatives on payrolls) and in repair contracts with private contractors (schools, bridges, public works, etc)??? That's also a major cause of our taxes going up!

Hey, I'd join you in a heartbeat! But, leave the individual person who's got a talent or gift that makes him/her stand out and make people want to enjoy their performances… it's part of the American way here, and part of the competitive way that gives us the best in people.

The problem with YOUR "Master Plan" is that every single other person that has come along with similar "Master Plan" ideas have gotten rich and set themselves and their relatives above the populace while enriching themselves… so, you really think you'd get far here? You must be delusional!

Take your efforts and direct them toward ending corruption, greed, mafeasance, ineptitude, incompetence and cronyism in goverment jobs and I might join your campaign… let's start by getting rid of the deadbeats in our educational system, our sanitation departments, those departments that are not fulfilling their roles in catching waste and corruption!

You propose to tell others what to do… how about if they tell YOU what to do? Did you graduate from Yale, Cornell, Harvard, Columbia and Stanford at the same time with the highest honors to tell us what YOU think you know? Bwa-hahahahaha….wake up, you're dreaming!

As the song says, "Git a job…! Shananana…" One word for you: SHUDDAP!

  55. As for any subsidies – it demotivates development (efficient resource utilization) from one side, and helps to survive and protect some local interests under pressure of predationary policy – from another.

  56. Internet usage is cheap in Europe. The French ISP Orange is buying out it's competitors and now owns very nearly half the French broadband market.

  58. Look no further. View this online offshore investment website and make your money to yield monthly return of average 20% or buy daily shares EMF at ipo price of USD1 per unit. Guaranteed by Swiss Mutual Fund 1948. Use my trading id [mygha1605101] as your introducer.

  60. to me marketing is among the ranks of politicians and used car salesmen.

the term marketing involves understanding the psychology behind what appeals emotionally and physically to potential buyers; it's now a science unto itself – which I find a necessary evil – like lawyers.

I think the epitome of marketing strategy has reached it's peak as can be witnessed in car ads – they equate hawking an expensive hunk of plastic, rubber, and glass with a lifestyle – that 99% of the fools who buy into the illusion, will never – nor have ever – lived a life that even resembles what's being exemplified. All it takes now is a vehicle, in a woodlands setting (or on a beach, or four-wheeling, etc.) with a voice over using only a few key words.

  62. This poeple wash their dirthy laundry together and in any case they must not bother or steal from any of us.
They belong to this poeple with out any moral without any homeland and Stalin has only one quality:he turned them into hamburger for economic crime.
It was right and we will bear lot less from burglers with a pencil like Madoff, from bankers remember Jefferson letter to treasure secretary about banks.Jefferson and Stalin together!!!!!!Smile
be sure they are more dangerous with a pencil or a puter they steal lot more money than gangs with assault guns..

  64. ok. i know. scan your pc for viruses, i reccomend spyware doctor by pc tool. there is somthing called spyware. it records ur passwords and can use them to log on as u. and then they just plain advertise. pretty sick huh?

  65. You know, this is something that I struggle with, a little.

On one hand, sometimes a face, name and story might be enough to help someone who would otherwise not have considered adoption, to think about it.

OTOH, there are safety issues to consider. There are privacy issues to consider. And unless the child is old enough to really comprehend the situation and give consent to having their name and face on the internet, it's adults deciding to do it.

    I'm not comfortable with it.

  66. Marketing is a good thing. If you have a knack for understanding consumer patterns then marketing is a great career. But it also depends on the amount of respect a business is searching for.

For example I work at a car dealer and the owner only advertises with classy ads (i.e a man and a woman sitting in front of a fire) and we only put up balloons but some places use huge inflatable cartoon people, fake sales (ie. well take anything on trade!!! tvs, boats, cd players!! Bad Credit OK!!)

Its all about how to find the right consumer and if you can reach out to the right people, you'll have a sucessful business.

  67. Yuyu, I dont understand what it is youre looking for. Maybe the internet doesnt either. try a different search…
or try one of the companies that you found.
    Marketing is tough. Good luck

  68. If your facts are all on target I have to agree with.
All though some of these other answers come on guys can you REALLY trust Obama on any issue, failure is one thing that can be tolerated but, the constant lying and inability to admit failure no way would I ever put any trust in this presidential loser.

  70. if you want to write and submit in the US, it's going to cost you some serious money. Overseas shipping is expensive.

If you are okay with submitting my e-mail, it's the new thing.

Google the words Piers Anthony and internet publishing and it will bring up the gold standard of listings for small presses and epubs. They all work online.

The writers market is a very expensive book that you won't find for free on line

  74. MLM's are all scams. That's the nature of that business. Anybody who thinks there's a such thing as a legitimate MLM is a fool. If you're fooled by a scam that poses as an MLM…well…I'm not sure what to tell you. You're getting fooled by a scam that's posing as a scam.

  79. Sorry, there is no such thing as easy money. I use Google adwords to defray the cost of my sites and it covers it most months, but nothing I can retire on.

Don't believe the lies, think about it, if you knew some way to make gobs of money easily, would you A) keep it for yourself and continue to make gobs of money or B) share it with others via some shady site and make a trickle of money on suckers (no offence intended, you're trying to get informed so you're not a sucker)

  80. First of all it would help to know where in the country you reside and secondly to personally talk to another distributor to answer your questions if you want anymore info call 2523425584 to help you out.

  82. Learn more about setting up an online internet business. Learn about internet marketing and SEO. Learn about Google

  83. Well, I don't know if this will help or not, but I know I saw go boards at one of the little game kiosks in the mall around Christmas…not in Chicago, but still, you might want to check a local mall for that. :)

  84. Expense may be a relative way of looking at it. If you need to deal with a 'cheaper' service, you may spend time in fixing what has been written. I'd try elance or something similar. I've had success with elance before, but have not used it for article writing.

  85. Internet marketing is marketing of products or services over the internet.Other terms are web marketing or online marketing.

The largest company that is very successful is Amazon. They have the best fulfillment system in the world and became so successful with books that they have added all kinds of products. More than 50% of their sales now is from non-books, total yearly sales is more than $28 Billion.

To earn money you have to become an affiliate of Amazon, every time somebody buys through your link you earn a commission (however it is not much)

Clickbank provides affiliates an opportunity to earn higher commission; 10,20, 50 or more per transaction but you have to actively promote the product or service.

There are other ways of earning money like ppc (pay per click), every time a visitor click on your link, you get paid (10c, 25, $1, $2 to over $20). It is more lucrative because you get paid for a click not a sale. This is more for advanced marketers the reason is that it is much more difficult to be accepted as an affiliate, you need to be very experienced in internet marketing.

The best way is to start with promoting Clickbank or Commission Junction products or services.

What do you need to do?
Start learning the basic concepts first, be very careful because there are so many program offered that promise high monthly income quickly. These programs are only good for the people who promote it, you and I are paying for their success.

The best way is to learn the basics first, and start with free courses that provide quality training.
I started a year ago buying different program without much success. However, I am now attending a Challenge course over the internet provided free by a company in Australia. The goal is to earn my first dollar with the training, once earning the first dollar you will have learned a lot to build a successful internet marketing business.

Another program that is also free, teaches you the basic of internet marketing, about the mind set, setting your goals, the basic tools required like design a web site with Kompozer, uploading it to the internet with Filezilla (both programs can be downloaded for free from the internet) how to modify images, how to promote it and many other tools that you will need to build a successful internet business.

    To receive a free ebook on how to design your first web site in a few hours;
visit http://www.internet-marketingtools.biz. You will also receive a complete video course that provide a step by step program, plus weekly emails to mentor you.

Once you have learned all the basic steps then you can make a better informed decision on what to do next.

    Hope this helps

    Victor

  86. Each institution can be different but typically your major is your main classes and then you can have a concentration in another, yet related, area.

  87. Becoming a MonaVie Distributor under one person or another, really doesn't make much difference. The whole MonaVie Team is there for support. However there is one website where you can become a MonaVie Distributor and get a free website. Try the link below. And that also helps you to market your Monavie, since a lot of people look on the web for MonaVie.

  90. If you go about your search in a systematic manner, then it should not be a problem to find a good article writing service. Try the following approach;

    a) Go to three of the main search engines and type in some keyword phrases linked to your search i.e. article writing, article writing service, best article writing services etc.

    b) Take the first three that comes up on the first page, and go into each site (total of 9 sites)

    c) Look at their site layout, references, quality and costs, and then make an informed decision.

You will naturally feel attracted to one or two services based on your findings in (c). As a caution, I would generally not opt for anything less than $10 per 500 words as the quality is bound to be suspect, although there could be exceptions.

  95. Hi kim/kimi,

I would have to agree with Khowe in that there are really no disadvantages (or cons) to internet marketing. The only thing is that it does take a lot of time and patience to do it right.

If you want an immediate spike in sales and are looking for nothing but strictly sales leads, I would say your most effective form of internet marketing would be to start using AdWords or hook up with an advertising company that could design banner ads and landing pages for you. This is also known as "SEM" or search engine marketing.

If you are looking to become known in your industry and increase your customers and community following in the long term (and often this pays off much more in the end), I would say to make use of Facebook pages, possibly start a Twitter account, and most importantly have a well designed website that is not just attractive, but also informative. This will help your "SEO" or your search engine optimization.

    Hope that helps!

With today's high unemployment worldwide, there are no easy jobs available. those trying to tempt you with easy money are scams, they will just steal your identity or charge you credit card until you have to close it out.

Wish the answer was more positive, but regretfully it is the honest truth.

Check the previous questions asking essentially the same thing as you, in this forum. there are dozens of these questions asked every day. And the same scams being posted in answer, every day.

  99. And I suppose it will be YOU and your cohorts who will decide what is fair distribution of wealth. That is why socialism always ends in dictatorship.
Go peddle your snake oil elsewhere, my good man!
